Why Join a Small Group?

In a society where people can sometimes have more virtual friends than friends they can share a meal with, our small groups are a key way for people to connect with others in a small, intimate, and meaningful way.  Our gatherings are driven by a common desire to know God, and so when we gather we regularly study the message of the Bible as an essential part of our time.  We want to interact together about what the Bible says, and through our relationships with one another encourage each other to grow in our relationship with God – so prayer, Bible study, and relationships are the three keys to any small group!  With a few exceptions (see descriptions below), our small groups are open to everyone, as we believe the value of connecting with others who may not share your age group or stage of life enriches and deepens our understanding of God and the gospel.

Almost every day of the week there is an opportunity to meet together in small groups. We've compiled a listing of our current small groups, their focus and location.   Unless noted, all groups are currently running and are open to anyone who wishes to join.

We meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 for 15 minutes of worship, an hour of Bible study, and forty-five minutes of sharing/prayer. We are eager to have new members join us. Our fellowship is enhanced by sharing a meal together once each month.

When: Thursdays 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm  |  Where: 42 Pleasant St. Apt.2  |  Contact: David Daniel

Come join us! We believe strongly that God is working to transform our hearts to make us more like Christ.  We believe that he gave us the Bible with the intention of bringing about that transformation, and we study it together to learn how he accomplishes that.  This fall we are looking at Jeremiah from that perspective.  We are a diverse group (singles, couples, men, women, a wide age range, a wide range of life experience) and thankful to God that he gives us friends so different from ourselves to offer different perspectives on his word and what it means for us.  Meetings usually last till about 10pm, split between Bible study and praying for one another.  Newcomers are welcome at any time.

When: every other Friday 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm  |  Where: 46 Stevenson Rd  |  Contact: James Fullton

We are an intergenerational group for those who wish to spend their Friday evenings in Christian fellowship. We meet bi-weekly, spending our time in fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Starting in the fall of 2019, we will be studying the three epistles of John.  Newcomers are welcome. Childcare is available.

When: Every other Sat. 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm  |  Where: Trinity House Conf. Room  |  Contact: Dequan Xiao
Join us as we worship & study together in Mandarin.  We will be studying the Scriptures and spending time in worship and prayer.
